if you have friends in NYC in need of a roommate or subletter starting mid may or so you should let me know because i’m gonna be homeless otherwise basically and if i move to nyc it’ll be easier for me to get the career thing sorted out
i have almost $2000 in savings so like i can pay a month or two of rent without worry and i imagine within that time span i could at least get a retail job or something
i’m gonna update this with a little bit more about me:
i’m 21, queer, usually a lady, and am about to graduate with a degree in writing so idk make of that what you will. i love cats and netflix. i’m trying to work in publishing but really my biggest concern is just living in NYC because i want to live there and also in order to work in publishing it’s kind of a requirement.
i don’t have anywhere to live after graduation because none of my family is able/willing to take me in and while i do have one or two options if push comes to shove, they’d all take me out of state and for various reasons that is not ideal!
i’m really responsible i’ve had internships and jobs and have paid all my own bills since i was 17 so it’s not like i’m some dumb kid who doesn’t understand the world idk
i’m pretty good at living with almost anyone i like my alone time and i don’t necessarily expect to be friends with my roommates but i mean it’d be nice
also i can cook and bake for you if you ask nicely
if the lovely people who have reblogged this so far could reblog all this as well i would appreciate it because idk i guess all that information is probably helpful
I understand people have much harder lives than me but PLEASE don’t steal
idiots think its gonna affect corporate but it’ll all get shuffed on the workers which defeats their point AND is stupid and illegal lmao
low wage folks get hit hardest in retail theft, the people in the offices hardly notice.
I hope people find a better way to find the tools to survive
